So what are the increases due to. Well, if you think about using on average 12 products per day each with their own preservatives, PPD’s, SLES and so on its no wondering our bodies are being affected.
The same way it is important to eat healthy food to nourish and fuel your body, we need to nourish and care for our organs. Your skin is the biggest organ you have, and it absorbs everything we put on our bodies. Taking this one step further and you can imagine the wealth of chemicals going into your body from visiting traditional hair and beauty salons.
To turn things around and be the healthiest, most beautiful versions of ourselves we need to look at the products we use and what is really in them. This doesn’t mean you can’t use your night creams or deodorants. It just means you need to pick a product that uses natural ingredients free from free radicals and chemicals. This will not only benefit your body but it also benefits the environment as those chemicals that go into your skin also get washed down into our oceans.
There are an increased amount of brands aware of this issue and they are making a change. Everything from makeup, moisturisers, toothpaste and deodorant are being made with natural ingredients that won’t harm you now or in the long term.
