IS IT TIME TO CLEAR YOUR COMPLEXION?
Understanding Acne concerns is essential to help you understand your skin condition.
Acne is common and occurs when hair follicles become clogged with oil, dead skin cells, and bacteria. This can lead to the formation of various types of blemishes, including whiteheads, blackheads, pimples, and cysts.
Acne can affect people of all ages, but it’s most prevalent during adolescence due to hormonal changes. However, it can also persist into adulthood or develop later in life due to factors such as stress, hormonal fluctuations, genetics, and certain skincare or makeup products.
The severity of acne can vary from mild to severe, and it can have different impacts on individuals, both physical and emotional. While acne is not dangerous, it can be distressing and affect self-confidence.
Remember, addressing acne concerns takes time and consistency. It’s crucial to avoid picking or squeezing blemishes, as this can worsen inflammation, spread the p|c bacteria, and lead to scarring. With patience and dedication, we can work together to achieve clearer, healthier skin and restore your confidence.
Where to start?
A customised facial treatment designed to target oily, congested and acne prone skin.
This deep cleansing and skin purifying treatment comprises a thorough double cleanse followed by a gentle exfoliation using corundum crystals. Extractions may then be performed if required, prior to the application of a custom-made pore refining and clarifying mineral/antioxidant mask. Upon removal the treatment is completed with an application of alpha and beta hydroxy acids followed by zinc oxide to calm, heal and protect the skin.
We use gentle yet effective ingredients to purify the skin, combat excess oil production, and promote healing, leaving you with a clearer, more balanced complexion.
This treatment paired with the recommended at home care is the perfect starting point to give you clear, healthy skin.
Other treatment options may include topical products, such as cleansers, spot treatments, creams, and masks, to control oil production and reduce inflammation. In some cases other therapies, such as chemical peels, or light-based treatments may be recommended to address more stubborn or severe acne and acne scarring. After we have been able to assess your skin and the severity of your acne we can recommend a personalised skin care plan to finally get you on the path to clear skin.
